-As Commissioner assures of his total commitment
The Imo state commissioner for youth and talent hunt, Dr Emeka Mandela has assured the National Planning committee for Southern National stakeholders converge that he will lead a contingent of Imo State youths to the upcoming converge being convened by the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress.
Dr Mandela said this earlier today at his office while responding to appeals made by the delegation of Southern Nigeria Youth Congress National Executive Council and the Central Planning Committee led by the President General, Comrade Emordi Ugochukwu Caleb GCA and the national Secretary Hon. Ayomiotan Adebusuyi Adeleke.
The team, through the chairman of the National Planning committee had earlier explained the rationale for the converge and extended invitation to the commissioner and Imo youths.
The team also requested that he facilitate an engagement with the Governor of Imo state who happens to double as chairman, South East Governors forum, Chairman, Niger Delta Governors Forum and the Chairman, APC governors forum, to adequatetly brief him of the converge giving, his strategic leadership position with the southern Region.
The Honourable commissioner for youths and talent hunt who acknowledged that His Excellency Hope Uzodimma is a youth friendly governor assured that he will follow through with the groups request and that the Governor will be glad to host them.
The meeting came to a climax when the honourable commissioner and the President General agreed on the modalities to Inaugurate the Imo state chapter immediately after the Converge.
