SNYC participated in the 2-day retreat organized by YOTSI (Youths of the streets initiatives) and Staci Smith Strategic Services. The retreat proved to be an insightful and knowledge-packed experience. It offered a unique opportunity for our team to come together, share ideas, and gain valuable expertise in key areas.
The retreat featured a series of lectures and interactive sessions, focusing on essential topics such as collaborations, grant writing, grant access, and the importance of having a clear vision and goal. Our members gained practical insights and skills, enabling them to enhance their work and contribute more effectively to our organization’s mission.
One of the major highlights of the retreat was the emphasis on collaboration and partnerships. Our members learned the value of building strategic relationships, identifying potential partners, and fostering effective communication. These skills will undoubtedly enhance our organization’s ability to drive impact and achieve our goals.
Throughout the retreat, our members were reminded of the importance of having a clear vision and goals. We explored the significance of setting SMART objectives, creating actionable plans, and tracking progress. By internalizing these principles, our team is now better equipped to drive purposeful growth and achieve our objectives.
The 2-day retreat was a resounding success, leaving our members feeling inspired, motivated, and empowered. We returned to our work with a renewed sense of purpose and energy, ready to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the retreat. We are confident that this experience will have a lasting impact on our organization, driving us forward as we strive to achieve our mission.
